South Bermondsey Studio

In October 2005 I rented a 10.000 sq ft industrial warehouse in South Bermondsey and set myself a challenge to complete twelve large scale sculptures in twelve months.

Employing a large team of assistants including a pattern maker, carpenter and industrial foundry, I set to work.
During this year I have worked mainly in wood and plaster, culminating in the sculptures being cast in iron and aluminium.

The studio has filled gradually creating a dialogue between the space and the sculptures and resulting in the desire to show the works as a series where they were created.
